JCTTEK is seeking an experienced AI Factory Deployment Lead (Field Foreman) to lead on-site deployment activities for advanced AI infrastructure projects. This hands-on leadership role supports the construction and deployment of high-density, liquid-cooled GPU data centers designed to power next-generation artificial intelligence and high-performance computing workloads.

The successful candidate will lead field technicians, coordinate installation activities, enforce safety standards, and oversee quality assurance throughout the deployment process. The role requires strong data center infrastructure experience, demonstrated crew leadership, and the ability to work alongside technicians in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily on-site execution of AI Factory and high-density GPU data center deployments.
  • Supervise field crews performing server rack installation, rack positioning, power whip installation, and equipment placement.
  • Coordinate liquid-cooling infrastructure integration activities with relevant installation teams.
  • Oversee structured cabling installation, fiber-optic connectivity, and GPU fabric network cabling.
  • Support server bring-up, hardware validation, connectivity checks, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Conduct quality inspections and coordinate QA sign-off before systems are energized.
  • Enforce site safety procedures and applicable OSHA and NFPA 70E requirements.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for customer representatives and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate work assignments, monitor progress, resolve field issues, and escalate technical risks.
  • Maintain installation records, track project milestones, and ensure work meets established quality standards.
  • Work hands-on with deployment technicians to maintain productivity and resolve installation challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in data center operations, structured cabling, infrastructure deployment, or related field installation work.
  • Demonstrated experience leading field crews or supervising technical deployment teams.
  • Strong knowledge of server racks, power whips, structured cabling, and data center installation practices.
  • Experience with fiber-optic and copper cabling infrastructure.
  • Ability to coordinate installation activities in complex enterprise data center environments.
  • Understanding of electrical safety requirements, including applicable OSHA standards and NFPA 70E practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and customer-facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time and work at project sites nationwide.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NVIDIA GPU servers or high-density AI computing infrastructure.
  • Exposure to liquid-cooled data center environments and cooling infrastructure integration.
  • Familiarity with GPU fabric and high-performance networking deployments.
  • Experience with large-scale data center builds, hardware rollouts, and commissioning support.
  • Relevant safety training or certifications, such as OSHA training or NFPA 70E electrical safety training.

Compensation and Contract Details

  • Hourly pay: $55/hour on W-2.
  • Contract duration: Approximately 6 months.
  • Travel requirement: Approximately 80%.
  • Work arrangement: On-site at designated data center deployment locations.
  • Travel expenses and accommodations: Details will be confirmed during the hiring process.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader who understands data center deployment from installation through validation. They can lead a crew, communicate effectively with customers, maintain strict safety standards, and help deliver complex AI infrastructure projects on schedule.

How to Apply

Candidates with substantial data center deployment experience and a proven record of field leadership are encouraged to submit their resumes. Please highlight experience with GPU infrastructure, structured cabling, liquid-cooled environments, rack installation, and large-scale deployment projects.
